We got our Bio letter this weekend and my case number starts with an MSC too. I was able to check our status online with no problem.

Our timeline:

1993: Met at the age of 9, best friends ever since

2007: Admitted what we both knew all along...

December 25,2008: He proposed!!!!

May 9, 2009: Got married

May 10th, 2011: Date that lawyer claimed he mailed out AOS package

July 14th, 2011: Date that lawyer *actually* mailed out AOS package

July 18th, 2011: USCIS started processing our application

July 30th, 2011: Received Biometrics Appointment (8/11/11)

August 1st, 2011: Successful Biometrics walk-in

August 3rd, 2011: Received all NOA hard copies

September 12, 2011: Card production notice for EAD (!!!)

September 13, 2011: I765 touched

September 19, 2011: EAD arrived in the mail

December 28, 2011: Received email notification of our interview date

February 1, 2012: Interview

February 29, 2012: Approval notice via email(!!!)

March 7, 2012: Card arrives in the mail (!!!)

Still didn't get any notice yet. My date is Nov 12th 2010 so I'm assuming next month I would be up.

Just a random question. My forms ID starts with MSC. When I go to look for my status on their website, it doesn't show up at all.

For the people who are waiting... are you also with MSC ??? If not, Does your status show up on USCIS website?

For people who already had their interview, did your form start with MSC ? and/or were you able to track your application status on USCIS website?

I haven't been able to check the status of my 4 applications either.

Asked the officers over the phone and during the infopass, and they said it's a glitch in the system :)

The good news is that I received the EAD a couple of days ago, AND, when I check the MSC number for that, it shows up properly now - go figure!

Anyway, good luck to you all

Thank you for your response! I am going to call them every week but this is still ridicilous. I have applied at the same time with most people who were in the same exact situation with me(F1 visa, got married here and live in NYC) and they have already gotten their greencards and whatnot. Just because I got an RFE, I'm going to have to wait for a few months now? I know there isn't much I can do but I just think that the system is really corrupted. At least in the meantime I have my work permit and I can work. Also I'm thinking of getting an infopass appointment to talk to someone face to face, because when I call the office, they just respond like robots UGH

Actually, there are 2 main reasons why I suggest calling them constantly:

1 - When I did the infopass, the officer said that it is important to keep calling the USCIS for updates to make sure everything is ok

2 - Because I kept calling every week, the officers I spoke to over the phone said that the process seem to be taking much more time than expected, and they were the ones that suggested to open inquiries, and create expedite service. I think that stirred my process, and at least got the EAD.

that's just my 2 cents...

11/13/2010 - Biometrics appointment scheduled for December 8th - (Day11)

11/17/2010 - Successful Biometrics walk in - (Day14)

06/14/2011 - still nothing, no online update since 11/17/2010. so frustrated (Day lost count)

08/03/2011 - received email that interview is scheduled for 09/08/2011

09/08/2011 - interview Garden City - received first card production ordered email :)

for those who received their cards, how long it takes for you guys to receive the card after the notiication?

just got mine it took 8days. between those day i got 2 diff. approval update and 1 post approval update. the last update was on the 08/01/2011. im sure urs will arrive within two days from now

Online update: inital review, the notice of action we sent to u was returend as undeliverable by us post authority. call uscis for rectification as this will affect the processing of your case.
called uscis: asking them to resend the notice of action and that i never change address.
Biomeric letter received: 05.02.2011 { for 05.17.2011}
walk in biomeric: 05.04.2011
another biometric letter received: 05.11.2011
went back for biometric centre: 05.12.2011 { was told that my last biometrics was good}
email and text massage recived: 05.14.2010{we have approved your EAC}

but this time status says "Post Decision Activity", "On August 4, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485....".

this time this is not about card production but they mailed something hopefully lol so it's good lol approved on 29th, it took them 5 days to produce the green card and shipped today lol
