I am planning to send about 30 pictures from various vacation trips, occasions as one of the secondary evidence of on-going relationship. I was wondering if anyone added caption to the picture telling where/when? If so, how? I got the standard from Walgreen off of my digital camera but I could not find a way to add caption.

I was thinking maybe hand-write caption on the back of the picture or type it on paper and then stick it on the back of the picture with tape, glue or somethng.

When I sent photos for our AOS, we added captions on the back of the photos. Using a black felt pen, we wrote 1) the names of the persons, 2) the location and 3) the month & year. This is NOT required, though. But adding a label/caption helps you organize the photos.

We used software to arrange the pics and to add captions, then printed the sheets out on plain paper using a regular home printer.

02/17/2010- I-130 sent to USCIS

03/01/2010- NOA1

06/02/2010- NOA2

06/09/2010- our case is at NVC!

06/12/2010- receive DS-3032 and I-864 bill

06/19/2010- I-864 bill is paid

06/25/2010- mailed DS-3032 to NVC

07/15/2010- received Immigrant Visa Application Processing Fee Bill Invoice

07/20/2010- Immigrant Visa Application Processing Fee is paid (check cleared)

09/20/2010- call NVC and find out that we can start work on I864 and DS230 packets

02/12/2011- AOS (I-864) packet is mailed to NVC

02/14/2011- NVC receives AOS (I-864) packet

03/06/2011- YAY! Finally, the 2 year HRR is fulfilled![/font]

03/07/2011- IV packet is mailed to NVC

04/07/2011- receive a letter from NVC requesting detailed information regarding the circumstances of my 1999 J-1 visa

04/09/2011- we mail the requested info to NVC along with proof that 2-year HRR has been fulfilled

04/30/2011- Check with NVC- get message "Your case was completed on April 27th. Please allow 8 weeks for further instructions"

05/17/2011- receive notification from NVC: interview scheduled for June 1st!

I inserted photos in Word document, 2 photos per page, total 10 pages. Then I wrote the place/occasion/people/date as appropriate below each photo, in the Word document. Then I printed the Word document in a color printer. It came out well. I did this for AOS and there was no problem.

Thanks hurryup, I'll keep this in mind for citizenship. I already have photos developed by snapfish so I'll just use them this tiem and I've added caption on the back. I'll mention in the cover letter that the captions are there.

I printed out 2 or 3 pages of colour photos, like 4 or 6 to a page, and hand-wrote the subjects, places, and dates underneath. Writing information on the back of store-printed photos is a real good idea too.

April, 2009 - We met

May, 2009 - We wooed

June, 2010 - We got engaged, looking forward to a small August 2010 wedding
