I do hate it when people tell us to be patient when they clearly had a better outcome. They should not be on these boards, we are people who want stuff done!

I hope everyone is tweeting!!!

09/21/10 - I-129F Sent!

09/23/10 - I-129F Received in Dallas, TX

09/28/10 - Text & E-mail NOA1 (It was at 12:44AM, weird) Notification that our case was transferred to VSC.

09/29/10 - Check cashed

09/30/10 - NOA-1 Hard Copy dated Sep. 27, 2010

10/03/10 - TOUCH!

After numerous calls to USCIS, my two Texas Senators and a Congressman, the latter got an "expedite" put through (if you can call a month and a week after ONPT an expedite). Just never let up! Even though mine took way too long, there were people who were a month before me and waited longer because they just sat back and watched. "The squeaky wheel gets the grease!"

03/31/11 - NOA-2!

04/05/11 - Received NOA-2 hard copy.

04/07/11 - NVC Received

04/12/11 - Case left NVC via DHL

04/14/11 - Consulate Received Hard Copy of Case

I hope everyone waiting for an NOA2 from VSC gets theirs soon. I know people keep saying that the service centers slow down and speed up all the time and that when one slows down, the other picks up the pace but it feels like VSC has been slow and behind on their processing for much longer than usual. Good luck to everyone.

I cannot even tell you how frustrated I become when I look at the Vermont numbers. Sorry to hear that your application was actually transferred to Vermont. It would be nice if Vermont would send out a very brief report every once in awhile to say "Hey, we are a little swamped with ????????". They should be able to tell us something!

I see California has a few October approvals today. Have you heard the reason for the increase of approvals during Jan and Feb with little or no movement for the Nov & Dec filers? Wish you the best of luck with your approval!

I realize that we (VJers) are just a fraction of the cases at the VSC, but there are no cases approved yet today! Where are you Vermont!? Show us a sign!

On a good note, one of my case workers (with a senators office) called Washington today to complain about the false processing times the USCIS is giving out. She said she got frustrated enough after so many calls that she called and yelled at someone about it. Hopefully they will at least update the site to reflect the 6 month reality.

Good luck y'all!

If you waited less then 4 months keep your comments to yourself!

It is people like you who need to wait the 6 and 7 months, next time you are in the DC area, you should stop by instead of hiding behind a PC. You are less than a month ahead of me and talking smack! "My" comment was for those who have been waiting over 5 months--I'm prepared to wait my time. You don;t like the comments-dont read the post AH!

Ok, I'm sick and tired of being nice to you, especially since you continue to spread false information.

SHUT UP!

Contacting your Congress officials DOES NOT DELAY YOUR CASE PERIOD. Senators and Congressman don't even have a clue about your case as STAFFERS trained in dealing with Federal Agencies handle it, as it is THEIR JOB.

I contacted my Congress officials right after I hit 5 months, who are there to represent ME the US Citizen. Do I regret it? No. I waited my 5 months, you waited 3 months and 10 days. Get off your high horse.

 !!!
