VSC at a standstill today...

Even considering that VJ is small fraction, 90 petitions is big enough amount to work on.

What annoys me even more, its funny how with massive calls, inquires from congress people, VSC stays bulletproof. :(

I called USCIS this morning. They said that they are working on Sep 11 date today...... So how come "Immigration Timelines" column in VJ website says that they are working on Sep 28 today? I dont know who is right and who is wrong....

My NOA1 date is Sep 21

I realize that we (VJers) are just a fraction of the cases at the VSC, but there are no cases approved yet today! Where are you Vermont!? Show us a sign!

On a good note, one of my case workers (with a senators office) called Washington today to complain about the false processing times the USCIS is giving out. She said she got frustrated enough after so many calls that she called and yelled at someone about it. Hopefully they will at least update the site to reflect the 6 month reality.

Good luck y'all!

VSC at a standstill today???

I noticed that out of the 4 (four) approvals on the 14th, 2 of them were NOA1 from October (congrats to those guys), however, what about the other 91 (NINETY ONE) still in September?????

50% of yesterday's approvals on VJ were skipping over the massive amounts still left in September, and not mentioning the possible ones left in July.....

BTW, this is according to Igor's List so feel free to see for yourself

About to head in to the 6 month range.........

October is getting done now too?? what the helllllllllllll? im a september 23rd filing and we still havent heard a thing, and a few other ppl i seen on here hadnt heard a thing a day or two ago either and they were before me, this VSC is slow, I havent seen my girl since November and this just sucks waiting so long!! it will be 6 months next wednesday!! :(

When I passed the six month mark I called VSC and the person was polite and saw that my NOA1 date was beyond there published date which is now 11 Sep. My NOA1 is 10 Sep. So she took some info and submitted a request to research my file to find why it hasn't been processed yet. She said I would receive a response within 30 days. This was Monday so I'm hoping to hear soon. I'll give the process two weeks to work by still using Sugar and Honey. After that I guess it will be letter to Senator. Now I don't know all the reasons for why some are getting quick approvals (NOA2 in 3 months) but I would suspect it might have to do with a waiver request. I have no qualms if those having petitioners in the military and a deployment might require a waiver. They are serving our country and I salute them. It would be interesting to hear from those who were quick approvals if they were actually in a waiver status at all?

Hoping for a June wedding : )

hi all. my noa1 is dated December 2. i am not even in my 4th month but what is happening in Vermont is unacceptable!!

guys i think we need to move and do something. a fast calculation after "Igors's list" sept, oct, nov, dec 2010 we are at least 340 K1 Vermonters. now if half of them engage in activity's like: letters to congressman/senator, call everyday to USCIS call center, open a twitter /facebook account and try to be "trends" in twitter. they will have to reallocate resources or shift officers in order to meet the 5 month goal. let me know what you all think and who is inn.

We could start a twitter riot egypt style! :D

lets organize the whole boat. :) its about 340 Vermont K1's, whats left from September, oct, nov, dec, 2010 after Igor's list. if jan, feb 2011 want to get in they're welcome.

i am gonna open a new post with this idea.

Praying that this not be yet another day of little to no approvals. It gives me some slight hope when I see something happening at the VSC.

09/21/10 - I-129F Sent!

09/23/10 - I-129F Received in Dallas, TX

09/28/10 - Text & E-mail NOA1 (It was at 12:44AM, weird) Notification that our case was transferred to VSC.

09/29/10 - Check cashed

09/30/10 - NOA-1 Hard Copy dated Sep. 27, 2010

10/03/10 - TOUCH!

After numerous calls to USCIS, my two Texas Senators and a Congressman, the latter got an "expedite" put through (if you can call a month and a week after ONPT an expedite). Just never let up! Even though mine took way too long, there were people who were a month before me and waited longer because they just sat back and watched. "The squeaky wheel gets the grease!"

03/31/11 - NOA-2!

04/05/11 - Received NOA-2 hard copy.

04/07/11 - NVC Received

04/12/11 - Case left NVC via DHL

04/14/11 - Consulate Received Hard Copy of Case
