I don't know about other field offices, but I know they watch you in the San Francisco field office, and they want you to know that you're being watched. There's a video monitor in the waiting room where you can see what's on camera. I remember because I teased my wife about being on television.

Generally they have your file that has all your photos in it. They would look at the photos and then look for you in the waiting room would they not?

I really doubt the Camera use. There is too much cost and time associated to this activity. Also, this is too smart for the USCIS to implement
