Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding the passport stamps evidence: Do I need to make a copy of the entire passport to prove that indeed I'm the owner of those stamps,or the copy of the pages where the stamps are applied are good enough?

Thank you :)

It doesn't say anywhere that it's required, but it doesn't hurt. We wondered about this too when we filed and ultimately decided to make color copies of every page of my passport, just in case. I figured, if nothing else, it's added proof of citizenship - since you either send a copy of your birth certificate or a full copy of your passport.

Copies of only the stamps can not and do not prove that they belong to you. I'd suggest a copy of the complete passport including blank pages. At minimum, a copy of the info page in front and the passport stamps.

I made color copies of the bio page and the pages with the stamps on them for ours. You'll definitely need the bio page included.

I would copy the entire passport just to be on the safe side.

Color copies or black and white work. Personally, I didn't use color copies, I sent black and white (no RFE). If you have a good scanner and it can scan your passport and make the image crystal clear and not fuzzy, there shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for your replies guys. Yea in the end I made a color copy of the front page, bio and stamps pages - on those pages is reported my passport number that can be checked on the bio page so I hope that they won't have any problems realizing that It's indeed my passport.
