Hey Guys,

Ny Fiancee will have her interview on March 24th and God willing, she will be approved. We planned on doing her CFO seminar the day after in PRISM since it will be the closest venue. She lives in Mindanao, so we would like to do all we can in this 1 visit. I know there's Cebu, but we would rather go here in Manila since she'll already be there.

What are some people's experiences regarding PRISM?

What time should she get there by?

What are the requirements? (does she really need to bring a copy of my US passport, my birth certificate, and proof of singleness? I am a Dual Citizen of the Philippines)

She won't have her passport/visa when she goes to the seminar, will that be ok?

Is it true that she can get her visa stamped with the sticker at the airport? (we are hoping that's the case so we can just take the seminar and then before she leaves, she gets it stamped at the airport)

Thanks for any and all help

Another additional question: I have the certificate already but no sticker yet, can I have the sticker in the airport? Or I have to go to the CFO office?

Chinook told me it was just easy.

What time should she get there by?

I believe their schedule of seminars is on their web site.

She should make a couple of copies of the biographical page of her passport. I believe the other requirements are listed on their web site. Chinook took everything with her just to be safe. She took a copy of our entire K-1 packet, the I-134, and all it's supporting documents.

Is it true that she can get her visa stamped with the sticker at the airport? (we are hoping that's the case so we can just take the seminar and then before she leaves, she gets it stamped at the airport)

Yes, she can get the sticker at NAIA. Check their hours of operation.

Thanks for any and all help

Where do you check? The CFO website only gives locations for Manila and Cebu. Can't find anything about an office at NAIA.

Not really, the CFO is also required for any filipino wanting to use an overseas worker program to move to various countries around the world... and those have no USC involved.

Thank you for the link! I'm going to get my sticker in NAIA Terminal 1 only because I'm nearer to the airport. But I'll get it before my flight date. :)

Walang anuman. I didn't even know about the CFO's NAIA office until a few months ago when someone mentioned it here on VJ.

I think you have a good idea to pick up your sticker in advance. I would be too nervous to wait until my flight date to get the CFO sticker. With my luck, the office would be closed that day!

:( not meaning to rain on your parade, but I believe the extension office is actually in the departure terminal beyond the initial security screening. You must have a reservation/ticket to get in and you can't leave (other than to your flight) once you go through security. I stopped and spoke to the counter attendant a few trips ago, and asked about the hours and to make sure that the sticker was available there. It is available and they are open fairly late.

Oh okay. Thank you so much for this information. I guess I just have to go to the main office.
