Hi,

My USC fiancé filed for a petition for me a UKC and i was preparing all the document for the interview and when i have been sent my birth certificate, i saw that my mother's name is different from the name i wrote on the filing application, so i asked my dad and he informed me that the name on the birth certificate if for my real mum which i never knew and the name on my application is for my late step mum which i always thought was my mum.

What should i do now the application is already in the process and i am still waiting for the NOA2 it has been 5 months now?

Any advice will be very appreciated.

Oh wow. That must be a lot for you to deal with. Someone with more current information can comment in case the process has changed, but I would send them updated biographic forms with an explanation when I got Package 3. You can also explain the situation at the interview.
