What would cause such long delays in processing an I-130?

I have been calling every 30/45 days (as they permit) and getting new ticket requests with no feedback. They requested a new photo Nov.2010 and I have received no correspondence since then. I stopped by the Miami Immigration office, but they could only open up MORE service ticket requests.

I also submitted I-129F with receipt date September 23, 2010.

2010-05-04 I-130/NOA1 receipt date

2010-09-23 I-129F receipt date

2010-11-19 Confirm CSC received response to their request for evidence (new photo of Spouse for G-325A)

2010-11-22 Wrote letter to Congresswomen Ileana Ros-Lehtinen for assistance.

2011-02-17 Letter from Congresswomen Ileana Ros-Lehtinen sent to USCIS-Miami.

2011-03-10 Visit to Miami USCIS office. Only able to open new service ticket requests for I-130 and I-129F.

Sadly, it's a long process! Keep checking up on it and see the timelines of those similar to yours, it may help to see where others are at that filed around the same time you did.

Good luck!

We are in the same boat. My NOA1 date is 6-9-2010. Tired of calling USCIS. Got Senator involved at 6 month's. Didn't do much good. USCIS gave him 2 different answers to his two inquiries. Still waiting past 9 month's now.

if your cases is over do you may contact the uscis at 1-130inquiries,tsc@dhs.gov only 1-130 visas.

how did you come across a contact email? Do you know one for the I-129F?

I will assume you meant to put a period between inquiries and tsc.

Thanks for the email! I'm going to give it a shot.
