UK citizen moving to Canada with Canadian fiancee

Well, I'm in a bit of a predicament. I've been living with my Canadian fiancee with her parents in Canada for the last 5 months, I have to leave on April 10th due to only being able to stay for max of 6 months.

Is there any way to apply for a Visa that will allow me to stay in the country whilst it is processing, or is the best course of action to fly back to the UK and apply from there (would prefer to avoid this situation if possible)

If you need any more information on my situation just ask here or PM me, I thought I'd just ask a general question first and add information as needed.

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Canada doen't have a fiancee visa. You would have to marry your finacee and you have one of two choices.

1) Get married in Canada and apply for a Family Class visa in Canada

2) Get married anywhere and apply to get your Family Class Immigrant visa in the UK.

Generally, processing in Canada is quicker and you get to stay while it is being processed. You also get a unrestricted Work Permit after about 3-4 months or so.
