Congrats!!!

Wow, they really can come at any time of day, huh?

What was strange for me is that I got the email and text message for our NOA1 at 1:21AM. I know that no one is working at the office at that time unless they have an overnight shift which I doubt.

Parabens! Talvez chegaremos no Rio ao mesmo tempo, quem sabe. Hope all goes well for y'all!

09/21/10 - I-129F Sent!

09/23/10 - I-129F Received in Dallas, TX

09/28/10 - Text & E-mail NOA1 (It was at 12:44AM, weird) Notification that our case was transferred to VSC.

09/29/10 - Check cashed

09/30/10 - NOA-1 Hard Copy dated Sep. 27, 2010

10/03/10 - TOUCH!

After numerous calls to USCIS, my two Texas Senators and a Congressman, the latter got an "expedite" put through (if you can call a month and a week after ONPT an expedite). Just never let up! Even though mine took way too long, there were people who were a month before me and waited longer because they just sat back and watched. "The squeaky wheel gets the grease!"

03/31/11 - NOA-2!

04/05/11 - Received NOA-2 hard copy.

04/07/11 - NVC Received

04/12/11 - Case left NVC via DHL

04/14/11 - Consulate Received Hard Copy of Case

Congratulations Blob,

Would you please be so kind to post a link to the Processing Time Printout Sheet that you included with your letters and where it says "approved under X month" etc.? I didn't quite understand.

But congratulations to you, any help you can give me now would be a blessing, my NOA1 date is October 5th, 2010. So right next to yours. I appreciate it. Way to go and good job. :)

Here is the page. Looks like they updated it yesterday but K-1s still say "5 months". https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do;jsessionid=abcx-FKHhBCyP8mJAm56s

What I highlighted on mine (mine was dated Feb 14 at the time):

-Posted: March 14, 2011

-If the office is processing a particular type of application in less time than our processing goal, you will see the processing times expressed in months (for example, if the office is processing naturalization applications in less than our 5 month goal, the processing time will state “Five Months”).

-I-129F Petition for Alien Fiance(e) K-1/K-2 - Not yet married - fiance and/or dependent child 5 Months

Pretty much in my letter I said this process is supposed to take 5 months or less, per this website and attachment. The Congress persons who contacted me kind of mentioned this in their letter saying they would see what the delay was since USCIS is clearly advocating that they process in 5 months or less still.
