319(b) - what type of company meets the requirements?

I have already received some great info about the 319(b) process from this message board :-)

However, I am still unclear if the company I work for would allow my wife to apply for naturalization under 319b.

I work for a US corporation which is one of the largest tier1 automotive suppliers. I found the following info on my companies annual report:

"XXXX is headquartered in XXXXX, XX (USA) and traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the Symbol (XXXX)".

Obviously, this is not enough info to answer my question.

I am looking for feedback from people who have gone through the 319(b) process. What type of company were you working for when transfered abroad?

hi! i know you're anxious about being able to find an answer, but i read a suggestion from a previous poster of an older thread, you can read it here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/261371-expeditious-naturalization-319b-american-company-definition/

anyway, as one member had suggested, have you tried doing an infopass so you can get a better answer if USCIS considers your company a US-based one? if you don't know what an infopass is, it is being able to go to your local office to talk to a representative there in person; you can google it and be able to find the website as you will have to set an appointment online and bring the copy of that appointment letter on the day of your appointment :)

i hope that helps!

Thanks for the link to the other thread. There is some great info there!

As far as the infopass idea, I would rather save myself the hassle. It seems that the people that service the infopass customers are just as incompetent as most of the USCIC officers doing interviews. The poster from the thread you linked also confirmed this theory...
