I sent our AOS package on 23 February and it was received on 25 Feb at the Chicago office. The check I sent with it still hasn't been cashed, and we still have not received any notification via I-797 or text message or anything.

At what point should we really be concerned and who should I contact then? I'm getting s little nervous now.

Thanks

We sent our I-751 package on February 18th, and they finally cashed the check on March 9th. At least you have confirmation that the package was delivered... maybe give them a call if you don't see the check go through in the next few days?

robmd i just call 1-800-375-5283 and asked that what we can do in your situation.

she said that person who filed need to call us. we will ask some questions like when did you file it DATE. name of the applicant, address and etc. after that they will be able to find out whats going on . so make sure you call instead of just waiting.

call 1-800-375-5283 and let us know

thanks

There is a chance they are backed up. I have seen cases take a few weeks to issue NOA1.

There is also a chance that you forgot a signature or paid the wrong amount or something, and in that case it is coming back to you via snail mail.

Either way, nothing you can do about it now. Worst case if the application is rejected, you'd only lose a few weeks time, and there are no penalties.

Good luck.

AOS for my husband

best thing that you can do is to wait for 30 days b4 u call USCIS it takes 45 days for them to update on their system I dId the same thing too AND THEY LET me call after 30 days then when 30 days past they will tell again it takes 45 days to update and input the status on their system.
