After an RFE asking for information we already sent/they didn't ask for in the first place we get a letter in the mail today saying we have to do biometrics AGAIN! I have to take another day off work (luckily I don't have a class that day) and our petition will be delayed even longer and James desperately needs to get working. James said they took his fingerprints loads of times because the guy wanted them perfect and then they even commented at the end on how good they looked. I'm so pissed, I'm going to be sure James tells them they better get them right this time because we are not going a third time (I'd yell at them but they won't even let me in the building.) On top of that the letter came on plain white paper (everything else has been on official looking paper) and the envelope was ripped open. I'm calling on Monday because I'm suspicious about this, the address on the envelope isn't even printed on, someone printed out a label with the Birmingham ASC and pasted it over another address on the envelope. I'm so mad about this....what else will go wrong next?? :ranting:

We got an RFE for information they already have as well. Maybe they didn't like what I sent, but it's all I have so we'll just resubmit it all again, with a detailed letter of what each piece of evidence is. As for the biometrics, I think I would call too since you feel suspcious about it. If James does indeed need to go for another biometrics, then maybe it's because the intial one didn't provide them what they want...whatever that may be. When Joel went for his, it took the person taking his fingertips five times to do just one hand. Yeah, I had to take an afternoon off, thankfully I had someone that could cover my class for me. I just hope anything else we have to do falls on either a teacher work day or during break.

They did his fingerprints about 7 times for one finger according to James, so the fact that they didn't get it right after all that makes me even madder. I'm definitely going to call on Monday but we all know how unhelpful the info line is...but sadly it's all we have.
