Adjustment of Status

How long should I expect to wait for a decision concerning my adjustment of Status? I filled 2010 November, did my Biometrics 2011 February, in January 2011 they asked for additional documents which I sent in in March 2011, I was given 87 days to turn it in. My question now is how long do I wait to get a response? The status says Initial Review and the next step is Decision, how long before that happens?

It usually takes between 3 and 6 months from the beginning, but if you spent 2 months responding to an RFE (January - March) then you might be delayed a further 2 months. Your case was on hold the whole time the RFE was pending. Good luck.

Thank you so much that helps....can you tell me how I can tell if my file has been touched? where do I find that information?

You can see that it has been touch by logging into your account on the USCIS website. If a file has been touched, you'll see that the date will change. You will not get an e-mail for this or anything, but by looking and keeping an eye on the dates, you can see if you get a "touch"...
