My process took exactly 9 months, not a day more, or a day less. If you haven't reached that 9 months mark, then don't worry. Remember, USCIS employees are considered to be 'Government'. Meaning, these are the type of employees that say that they work for the Government, that they walk, they don't run, even though there is a crunch at the worksite....Secondly, Vermont gets more applications than California, by a large margin. Thirdly, maybe, just maybe, venmont has more of the "walk, don't run" type of staff...(Please note that I am not saying that all Government are the "walk, don't run" type. I work with a local Government organisation, and there are this type, and the "run" type, both.)

If you have reached the nine months mark, don't even worry. Just wait for them to get there. I know hard that is. I have been there. I was actually preparing a second set of evidence, in the event they sent a RFE. Fortunately, they approved me. So, just hang in there.

Manuela, your journey took a week, shy of 10 months...If I can imagine the worry and stress that was lifted off your shoulders. I guessed you got a good night's sleep after sometime.

Yeah I was starting to worry that they lost my papers or what... the approval letter came from San Antonio, so it looks like they sent it on to the field office so who knows how long it was delayed there... But in the end it worked out, I know they're all overworked and underfunded and I'm sure they do their best. I hope any others that are still waiting will get their approvals soon!

I am start getting worry, cuz Vermont center is 6 month to process a case and I passed that ?

should work with the number from your NOA2 but wont update until card production is ordered.

have you called for a service request? give a ring tomorrow and speak to a tier 2 person. you are well outside processing times and hopefully they will SNAP into action and get you approved!! keep us updated!
