April 2011 filers

MANUELA, SOPHIE123, VAGINA_JOURNEY, FRALI, JENKA, JAKE10M, MRSROWE and GTG349N (NOA1 dates in April 2011) - have you received any further information?

I filed a S/R (1/10) and got a standard response (1/12) saying:

"“Based on your request we researched the status of this case. We are actively processing this case. However, we have to perform additional review on this case and this has caused a longer processing time. If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action from us within 6 months of this letter, please contact customer service at the number provided below.”

Anyone else in the same boat? Not sure what to do. Thanks.

Still nothing in the mail...I am totally getting frustrated now. Can you please enlighten me on how to file a Service Request? Thank you very much.

I was able to convince a Level II IO to start a SR since the processing time is outside normal (6 months) and that more than 30% of May filers already have approvals. The whole experience is frustrating to say the least since the SR was completely unhelpful.

Date of I-751 : Mid April

NOA1 Date ( one year extension letter ) : 04/26/2011

Biometrics Date : 06/20/2011

the last update for the case on line was 05/12/2011

I am start getting worry, cuz Vermont center is 6 month to process a case and I passed that ?

Very similar situation here:

NOA1 Date: 4/29/2011

Biometrics: 6/17/2011 but Last Update: 5/13/2011

FP results confirmed for 6/17/2011

I called them today, they said that they are still processing April 4 now, they cannot open SR for me.

I really don't know what happened? And May filers is over 30% now.

USCIS just updated their PROCESSING TIMES.

They are backlogged for I-751 cases but they are processing applications with NOA1 on or after May 2, 2011 (no more April 4 stuff...)

How many of us (April NOA1 dates) are actually left? Thanks.

just talk to a live person and ask him when your FP was cleared. I called and was told FP was cleared and sent to immigration on the same day, which is June 2.

I think when they say "May 2nd" it means the last application that was processed in November 2011 had been received in May 2nd. I do not think it means "no more April applications". Hopefully, by February update they will clear all April applications.

SR is a service request which a customer service rep or high level officer can open for you if your application is out of the normal processing time so the website says "May 2nd" if your application is dated/received before May 2nd, I believe they could open a service request for you.
