By this rate I doubt we would be approved by Christmas...

i think you have a reasonable chance. there are now 15 working days before christmas. and youre early in april. the approvals are starting to roll! go vsc go!

Hello VJ'ers, Today i recieved a letter from USCIS,

Congratulations! Your request for removal of the conditional basis of your permanent resident status has been approved. You are deemed to be a Lawful Permanent Resident of the United States as of the date of your original admission or adjustment of status. This came from Charleston SC. Maybe VSC is giving work to local offices.

Question, should the new card be valid for 10 years or 8 ????????????

Hope all you Guys still waiting get good news soon.

Well it must be a South Carolina day :yes:

Last night i was cussing the fact that the USCIS site was down for maintenance and i could not check my status :(

i got home tonight and a letter was waiting, i was shaking as i opened it, dreading it being an RFE or Interview.

it was the same worded letter as chops got, also from the charleston office. should recieve card within 60 days.

Date is November 29 2011.

Thanks for all the support and i Pray you all get approved before Christmas.

Looking forward to seeing your approval Rocks, weather is cold but nice.

Thanks guys, just realised i read the letter the wrong way.

You are deemed to be a Lawful Permanent Resident of the United States as of the date of your original admission or adjustment of status.

I got thinking they were going to start it from 2009, now realise my status started in 2009 and is not taken off new card and thus reducing it by 2 years.
