keep positive, BRIGHTLuck909! as an oct2011 filer, you have wait of 6ish months ahead of you. might as well pass the time thinking happy thoughts, rather than fixating on the not-so-happy.

at least we are doing the i-751, instead of, lets say, waiting in administrative processing AWAY from the person we love.

you are new to (posting on) VJ. you will find that being positive makes the wait go by much more easily. you may find that obsessively checking for updates and calculating out ROC milestones makes the wait more difficult.

[just my opinion.]

mr and mrs,

Thanks for lovely note! With the HOPE you have, you can run for Oval Office 

I can’t tolerate unfairness, and it’s extremely unfair the gap between CSC and VSC filers.

Second, without getting into personal detail; there is life outside of this bloody USICS process. Not everyone is in same situation, I have to travel overseas for extended period of time. But I can’t, because I can’t travel back to US on short notice (in case interview). Worse of all not able to plan anything. I don’t like this uncivilized ways of USCIS. Stick to 6 month goal, instead of keep moving goal posts.

i guess i just believe that the USCIS is doing their best. it is an agency that tends to have to deal with fraud, so they don't just whip through the applications (of which there are hundreds of thousands). i dont hear a lot of cheering for the USCIS when they approve early. (except from yurika!)

we know that VSC handles a proportionally larger number of cases in terms of the i-751. and they handle lots of different kinds of cases. when i did my 1-129f/k-1, VSC was much faster.

the situation is what it is. fairness? there is no such thing!

im sorry if the timelines make your personal circumstances more difficult. best of luck. bet it will come through very soon!

mr and mrs

Based on your arguments ... does CSC get more honest applicants?

Why can't USCIS do load balancing or some other method which can have more balanced timeline for EAST and WEST coast?

Applicants pays fees, USCIS can hire more employees, if there are more applications to handle; it seems it always are.

If Department of Defense can have contractors / Contract employees, why can't USCIS?

"the situation is what it is. fairness? there is no such thing!" Really!????

Quote: Never explain yourself. Your friends don’t need it and your enemies won’t believe it.

Govt should live up to deadlines and timelines, if Govt wants to be role model so people should pay taxes on April 15!

I don't want to turn this thread into our USCIS debate, but USCIS' actions and delays are not justifiable.[PERIOD]

im not sure why you are so concerned when you are not even technically out of normal processing times (ie 6 months. or even 6.3 months)? <shrug>

i just get tired of the whinging, which, thankfully, i find the vast majority of VJers not guilty of.

as i said, the situation is what it is.

if i were as upset as you seem to be, i'd take it up with my elected officials. though you sound slightly anti-government, so that may not be appealing to you. maybe join "occupy wall street"? it would certainly occupy your time until your approval comes through!

kindly,

the mrs

the mrs

Small minds think why? Great minds think why not?

Why not 90 or X days for any case regardless of its nature or outcome?

“as i said, the situation is what it is.” No madam, human can change situation: 100 years ago you (mrs) won’t be able to vote, there wouldn’t be any elected official for you. someone said this not acceptable …. Complaint is the first step for advancement of any process or society.

I am 0% concern and 100% angry …. For legit reason, not going to share here though.

Based on your hoop jumps of why and illogical judgments. You are a perfect candidate for 800-USCIS-UselessLine … but wait I guessing you are already doing a great JOB here! It’s joke I hope you get it and fun time.

Superficial optimism is useless.

Really Sorry Guys.
