I think uscis is doing racial profiling. If you take a close look at the april and may filers who have not got approved, you will find out that many of them are from china. I guess what uscis does is

I am thinking that we may see our Green cards, if granted, during October.

I'm less optimistic. I'm thinking most of us will be lucky to see anything by Christmas at this rate.

Looking at the topics for February and March shows that VSC approvals are not happening as fast as we would like :(

VSC January filers have really gotten rolling in the last couple of weeks, so you can kind of base your timeline on that. Sucks, doesn't it!

hey guys you dont have to be so upset,next year in april u get to apply for citizenship even if you dont have a GC,based on 3 year residence..so if its not Christmas then u get closer to the process to be over..CITIZENSHIP..

APPROVED! :dance: Just received the following email: On July 19, 2011, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

It took 3 months and 1 week from my NOA1 date, I’m glad the waiting is over! All the information I found on here during the process was invaluable, so thank you to everyone who contributes on VJ. Good luck if you’re still waiting, hopefully the approvals start flooding in. :thumbs:

Hi there i filed for my husband and son on April 26th and still not had NOA2 but know it wont be long as the us embassy website says they are currently processing petitions filed on april 15th. its just killing me waiting!! and i know that it will take a few more months before my husband gets an interview. such a long waiting game but i know it will be worth it in the end.
