Did your letter give you a time frame to hear a response from them?

They told me on the phone that I would hear from them within 30 days. I ended up received my bio appointment letter before getting their response to my call.

The response was I already had an appointment scheduled and had a copy of the notice with it. Coincidence or not, my bio appointment letter was dated the same day I called them.

N-400 timeline

2014-08-25: N-400 sent

2014-08-27: N-400 delivered

2014-08-29: NOA1 issued

2014-09-02: Acceptance text and email received

2014-09-05: Biometric appointment notice issued

2014-09-06: NOA1 received

2014-09-13: Biometric appointment notice received

2014-09-22: Biometric appointment

2014-09-26: Placed in line for interview

2015-01-23: Interview scheduled

2015-01-30: Interview letter received

2015-03-03: Interview

2015-03-03: Recommended for approval!

I think uscis is doing racial profiling. If you take a close look at the april and may filers who have not got approved, you will find out that many of them are from china. I guess what uscis does is

Hey there, welcome!

You should call USCIS and see if your appointment letter got lost or something. The number is on the bottom of the NOA. If you press 1 for english then do 1234 you should get through to someone.

What date did you send your application off? You can be added to the list of April CSC filers, then you can track the progress of other people who applied around the same time as you.

ok we called today

got transferred to someone who could help us (LOL)

The gentleman told us that we are still being processed and the reason we haven't heard anything else is because there is not going to be bio metrics. and that it could take between 6 - 9 months

Umm... I would call back and speak to someone else. Didn't you pay for a biometrics appointment when you sent off your paperwork? I'm pretty sure everyone has to complete a biometrics appointment for ROC. When you get through to the call center just tell them you want to raise a service request because you haven't been scheduled a biometrics appointment yet and you have been waiting more than 30 days, you don't need to get transferred to customer service for that. They will take some information from you about the date of your NOA and how long you have been waiting and then they should send you an email or a letter (that's what I got). My letter took about 2 weeks to get to me and it said it could take a further 60 days for an appointment to be scheduled.

Hehe when I saw his first post I was very surprised that a California filer hadn't been scheduled a biometrics appointment, then I checked his timeline and wasn't surprised at all. :bonk:

I'm a little comforted by the fact I'm not the only one who has been waiting 2.5 months for an appointment.
