I suppose I should call them by now? Mid may CSC filers are getting their appts. This is pretty much par for the course in my past experience with these idiots.

Guys,

I misplaced the extension letter and can't find it. All i have is the Bio appointment letter and the passport. Could this be a problem at the Biometric office?. The GC will be expired just before the appointment which is in 2 weeks from now. Any ideas or suggestions? kind of worry they will reject us at the Biometric office.

Anybody know how to get ahold of the CSC? I called 800 375 5283 and the system does not recognize my receipt number. I tried dialing 1234 like someone else suggested but that caused the answering system to give me a lecture about dialing incorrect numbers. Any clues would be helpful thanks!

early Walk-in bio at Atlanta office today, did not have to wait at all, the whole process took 5 mins. Now comes the waiting part!

My husband and the kids did their biometric yesterday in Jacksonville. No problem with walk-in. The lady was a little bit astonished that the kids need bio because of having a US passport.

My husband asked for the I-551 stamp. She said no and when another officer jumped in that it is possible she brushed the officer off. She just didn't want to do it.

Oh well, now lets see when the green cards arrive!

You have to press 1 for English and then, you do 1234... hope this helps!

Thank you Gabby71. It did work. They told me we will get a "service request" since it has been more than 30 days since our NOA receipt date.

Eng_ashraf, just about everybody's green card is expired when they go in for the bio appt. Just because you don't have the letter does not mean you don't have the extension in their system (or else how would you be going to the appt?).

You can show them your Driver License or even your passport as ID. You don't need to show a valid green card during your Bio appointment.

No it wasn't expired yet but as DrVs posted above a valid drivers license or passport can also be used.

If your reciept number is from your NOA1 it wont work. Its not antill you get you biometrics with a NEW reciept number that it will recognise and be linked to your case

Added my biometrics. Question though, my son and I have different schedule, anyone had same situation? Also, walk-in should be fine right or should i call ahead the ASC to be sure?
