me too, but the guy didn't like me... he said my fingers are bad, and some of them got rejected by the computer. So happy that is done, and now the waiting continues :)

My husband's are done as well. His also had to re-do a couple of fingers because they didn't come out right. The place was pretty much empty when we went in for his appointment. It only took 15-20 minutes. Now back to just waiting.

Just curious and to get people talking...how did you originally come into the US? If it was spousal based, how did you meet your spouse? Dennis came from Canada on a K1 visa to marry me in 2009. We met in 2005 while playing World of Warcraft, but didn't get into any sort of a romantic relationship until 2007 when we met in person for the first time.

I am starting to get nervous. People who filed after me already got their bio letters. Is my letter lost in transit? Should I make an infopass appointment?

People who filed before and after me at VSC have their letters too but I don't yet. I'm giving it another week before I call them.

WoW ftw! A lot of people say relationships formed through WoW can't be real but I've never believed that and your case just proves that it can work if you find the right person. Congrats to both of you :)

I met my wife through mutual "online friends" who I used to chat to on MSN Messenger. We spent a lot of hours typing, followed by a lot of hours talking on the phone (which was expensive back then, but it will always be worth it). Then Skype came out and we spent a lot of hours talking on that (3,080 hours if you can believe that - I still have the Skype log that shows it :P). We did that for 4 years before deciding we finally wanted to meet each other. I have no idea how we did that for so long without going insane from not being with each other!

We met in person on three different occasions for three weeks at a time over the next two years and then finally I left Australia to live in the US. All these years later we're happily married and almost at the end of the immigration journey :)

The NOA you receive tells you that your GC has been extended by 1 year.

The waiting sucks - I don't have my bio letter yet either :( - but as long as you have the NOA then your PR status is still valid.
