Anyone get an ipad2 yet?

I have the first gen ipad and after trying to talk myself out of ordering the new one since I heard it was coming out, I just ordered one. I seriously had the Apple Store opened on my computer for like 4 hours tonight. I finally clicked and bought one. The only thing that sucks is it says it ships in 3-4 weeks. I think I'm a shopping addict because I feel so much less stress now that I bought one. I need help.

I'm slow with upgrades. I only upgraded my first-gen iPad to iOS 4.3 last night

because I needed a feature that iOS 3.2 didn't have - AirPlay streaming to Apple TV.

Apart from it being lighter and having a camera, what new functions does iPad 2 have?

Nah, i refuse to buy anything from a company that has been fooling people for years with their overpriced/subpar computers and that's 'one' great invention ( the ipod ) has done nothing to redeem that quality in them as they still do it today...

Mark - I have a question about AirPlay...I know it's popular, but Apple sells a cable to directly connect the iPad to your TV, so is it really necessary to use AirPlay? is the picture quality better or is it just for people who want to use Apple TV too?

Well it's wireless so you don't have to keep your iPad connected to your TV.

Apple TV is super cute (and inexpensive.)

You can surf for porn, take HD video and watch TV at the same time. And if you get the vibrator attachment for 29.99 at the Apple store..............................

:lol: no seriously...I'm curious because I never use mine for connecting to the tv since my tv already connects to the net on its own.

It doesn't matter. You should not do anything unless you pay a fee to Apple. Steve knows what is best for you. Only buy Apple products and services. :devil: :devil: :devil: :devil:

All joking aside, the iPad 2 looks good. It is faster and has better graphics performance too. It sold like crazy on launch day as was expected.

I mainly use mine for my textbooks. It's so much easier to carry that than a bunch of really heavy textbooks.
