Wow, you really are into this party political rubbish.

Liberalism isn't a political party.

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

Cute. But that opinion of yours is as party political as it gets. Same stale, stereotypical self-styled American conservative soundbite i've been hearing for years. Boring.

Next.

Thanks for the endorsement. ;)

conservatism isn't a party either....

I believe the correct terminology you're looking for in these instances is "ideological."

The correct terminology i'm looking for is party political since the arguments come from people who are current or former GOP voters or people who otherwise identify with the positions of the GOP.

You obviously are lacking in your knowlege of American politics if you think every GOP member is a staunch conservative or that every Democrat is a staunch liberal.

There are quite a few memebrs of both parties who vary in their ideological views. Plenty of 'conservative' Democrats and 'progressive' republicans depending on the issues.

Why do you care? You don't seem to have any problem with the other stereotypical generalisations in this thread.
