I 551 registration receipt card

Hello all, can someone please tell me what an I-551 receipt card is? I signed up with a temp agency and they just won't put me on assignments w/o it. If it is my NOA1, I lost it. What should I do now? Please help!!! Thanks much.

are you removing conditions? did you receive the letter that they were extending your card for a year?

they are requesting you have a stamp or card showing your GC hasn't expired or will not expire soon. if you haven't received your letter extending your GC for a year, you could stamp your passport extending your conditional GC for another year until you receive your 10 year GC.

Thanks for the response. I did receive an extension letter from USCIS but it is apparently not enough. The temp made a copy of the extension letter and they'd also need an I-551 card receipt. Don't know what to do. The extension letter by itself should suffice in my opinion. What say?

The I-551 card is the thing that was stamped in your passport. Also, the extension letter should suffice. Maybe you could call USCIS to verify the letter is valid with your future employer on the phone?
