Hi I am beyond pissed off. I sent my Affidavit of Support information, banking statements, etc. to the US Embassy in Belize City on AUGUST 25th on a "2-DAY EXPRESS" [60 bucks], using ****UPS***** First, they claimed that weather problems were causing delays and then after calling them 4 times they finally admitted that they had LOST the package!!!! Not only had they lost it, but they were UNAPOLOGETIC and did not say they would refund my money!

To make matters worse, my husband's interview for last thursday was CANCELLED because they did not have the forms they needed from ME....great....so now they re-scheduled him or next tuesday, but as of TODAY, UPS has STILL not been able to find my package!!!!

**********DO NOT USE UPS FOR IMPORTANT INTERNATIONAL MAIL********* HORRIBLE SERVICE, MEAN PEOPLE, NO REFUNDS!!!

What does Brown do for you?:lol::lol:

Could not hold back..

Yeah that stinks and they should refund your money. I sent a document va fedex to the Philippines with over a week to spare, they said it will get on this date and it did not.. so I called them and they refunded my money.. they did not lose or what ever just was not delerived when they said it would be.. Fedex is better

UPS is too expenive..I wanted to ship something in the USA it was like $50 so I went to USPS and it was $30 and got their faster then UPS would of

Belize, everybody has bumps in the visa road and this is yours. So breathe deeply and just sort it out. For what it's worth, our Package 3 was held up a month because someone put in the wrong postal code. Nothing's perfect.

When your immediate issues are solved, write a letter to UPS head office and copy FedEx, who might use it for marketing purposes. Explain in one page the domino effect UPS' inefficiency has caused.

The trouble with UPS is that it's a franchise. They make money by selling terrirtories and then let ordinary people, who are not well-versed in customer service, run them. That's why you'll never get satisfaction from UPS. Nobody's driving the bus.

Sorry to hear abt your problem. I agree that UPS sucks !! Never really had "major" problems with them, but they seem to be the only courier service that cannot find our apartment address for some reasons. One time they even sent my husband's packet to his ex-wife's home saying that that's the only address under my husband's name that they could find in our state while my husband has lived in his current address for over 4 years !!! Good thing that his ex was nice enough to keep the packet until we can pick it up.

For international, definitely use FedEx or DHL ! I think there are some rumours that for FedEx is better for US shipments and DHL is better for Europe, but I tried them both shipping back and forth from my home country to US and never had problems !

Oh now that I think about it I have hada a MAJOR PROBLEM WITH UPS. When we started this the VJ our lawyer sent all the forms and paper work for my husband to sign well some how they got lost and were not found till days latter. The lawyer had to redo all the forms for us to submit to USCIS and more time was wasted in getting signatures and all. Needless to say the first packet that was sent arrived a few days after the second set of forms had arrived . Total waste of MONEY AND TIME AND SINCE TIME = MONEY for your own peace of mind stay away from UPS.

haha. Once I wanted to send two boxes of birthday treats to two friends. The UPS guy INSISTED that they needed to be repacked, and he had to do it later. Well, he got the two boxes mixed up and sent them to the wrong guys. I complained but UPS refused to ship them to the correct recipients. My friends ended up mailing the boxes to each other using USPS. What a joke!! <_<

(F) I hope everything has worked out with your husband's interview, belize!!

Well, for the update....as of TODAY, there is still no trace of my package...what BS...they told me they couldn't put a tracer on it until 2 business days after it should have arrived...and that they couldn't tell me where my package was until EIGHT BUSINESS DAYS of "tracing" it...aka just buying time...

i sent out a packet of all the same information yesterday, meaning that I had to do everything all over, go to my bank for statements, get my affadavit notarized, etc....they can't seem to just admit "WE LOST YOUR PACKAGE"....

...so....still waiting til it arrives....because we can't schedule an interview until then...thanx for all the support!
