Tax documents in PI Embassy

Reading all of the U.S. Embassy Manila interview reports I have yet to see any that say the interviewee submitted their fiancé's tax documents to the CO or to any other person at the Embassy. Do they actually take the tax documents or does the interviewee just need to have them on hand in case they are asked for?

The Filipino pre-screener will ask for the K-1 petitioner's I-134 and tax documents. The pre-screener will pass them along to the consular officer.

Just make sure she bring it with her to the interview..they ask for it and will make a copy for their own file and will give it back to ur fiance. Good luck!

So if I am well above the poverty line no need for statements? My fiance claims her friend had hwe interview on Monday and the CO asked for bank statements and W2. She also tol dher that they do not accept pay stubs or pay statements at USEM in Manila?

Yes, if your income qualifies there is absolutely no need for any bamk statements at all. I attended my fiancees interview and brought 3 years of tax transcripts, several recent pay stubs and a letter from my employer's HR department saying that I was a full time employee and had been since XXX date.
