I'm nervous that I'm going to incur the Sheriff's wrath by asking a question, but I've been reading forum posts all day, AND I've clicked his links, and I can't find the answer to my question... so here goes:

I'm an Australian national currently living in England (Ancestry visa; it expires June 2008), and have just got engaged to my lovely Texas man... total n00bs to visa issues, we've been reviewing our options with growing horror (yes, the naivete is scary), and have pretty much decided the K-1 is the way to go... so my question is:

will I be able to deal with things through London, or will things have to go through the US Consulate in Sydney?

thanks for any help you can give!

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

There is a comment about "touch" of records at Homeland Security and the I-129F process. Petition was approved on 12-13-2007. There were NO touches until that day. I looked at 0900 that morning it still said Sept 2007. That afternoon - boom - Dec 13 data and NOA2 approval. When I called the lady said they are not updating the web site.

So I think touches went the way of "no money" to keep the taxpayer informed

Hello, brand new and "going through the maze". My fiance got a medical done. She is small and the medical examiner stated to her that she didnt look as though she could have had children- (she is 37 and had 3 children over 10 years ago). Could this be a concern at the interview??? we have birth certificates on all children. I wasnt at the exam meeting so I am not sure what was said exactly. Hazel is from the Philippines and is very worried about getting the fiance visa. I am trying to allay her fears, but I wanted some feedback from someone who had been there to allay my fears, too.

Any feedback would be appreciated. What all information from the physical medical exam becomes a part of the intervew process? Thanks.

"fwaguy"---- was that a head shaking that means the medical examiners comment would not be significant at an interview?
