Withdraw K1

My fiance and I are pretty sick of having our lives on hold when all we REALLY want to do is get married.

On top of that, we were not aware when we filed the K1 that we were eligible to file directly with the consulate as I have been living in Mexico with him for the past 2.5 years and I am here as a legal resident with an FM3.

We're wondering now if we withdraw the I-129F application and get married now and DCF in Mexico City will there be any issues? Would this put a mark on his record and count against him as far as getting issued a visa?
