People going through London.....

So our case has been sent to London and so i want to have as much as possible ready for when they send packet 3.

I was just looking at the embassy info for London and it says that the DS-156 has to be filled out via the embassy website, is that correct? I mean is it correct it has to be filled out online and not by hand?

Just because i had read somewhere else that the forms should not be filled out unless they have been provided by the embassy.

Im just a little confused as i thought i had read that people had pre-filled forms to save time.

Can anyone help me understand?

I did not see a place on the US embassy site in the UK for an online form so I looked further and the USCIS has the form on their site.

This form is secure and generates a unique number barcode, I would use it to help streamline the process.

i filled my forms all by hand and am now waiting for interview date so i dont think it matters either way. My printer isnt working hence why i did it by hand:)

I e-mailed the consulate about this question after getting contradicting instuctions on their own forms... they told me that either hand filled or computer generated was fine. Just remember not to sign! Good luck!
