How do they approve documents at NVC? Can I send my husband's documents first? Do they need to have them together? Or do mine have to be sent first? If I send them separately will they approve them on their own or wait until they have all of them?

Did everyone send paystubs, or just letter from their employer, transcripts, etc?

Thanks

Keep papers that pertain to one case together.

There are plenty of guides that answer all those questions! :) Good luck.

Thank you. Unfortunately I don't have the time to look through pages and pages in the forums for answers to these questions since they're all different issues;)

I've asked before about paystubs but haven't received any answers. I don't know if they're necessary or not. Also, has anyone ever listed income that was extra, on top of the employment? I have a small pension that I get from my divorce and I don't know where to list it on the form so I can include the income. It's not a job so I can't list it there. The income is listed on my transcripts, so it needs to be listed somewhere on the form, right? Also I had some unemployment in January on top of my wage, and I'm not sure where to list it. Ugh....maybe I'm just going to have to pay the attorney.

Usually, if your income is sufficient, a copy of your last 3 years tax statements is enough. You could also get a form letter from HR at your job stating your status as an employee, when you were hired, and your yearly gross income. Your pension would be listed on your gross income on your tax statements if it is taxable, and that gross income number is what they're looking for. I would just include the added income on the total household income line, just as it is on the gross income line of your tax statements, and let the tax statements speak for themselves.
