Expedite no response

So I submitted an expedite request for medical reasons and it has been over a month and no response. Is there a way to expedite the expedite? :bonk:

Is there a way to check on the expedite? I called USCIS and got nothing but scripted answers and was told not to call back. VSC is the one actually processing it but there is no customer service for them?

I mailed the documents requested to:

ATTN: XXXXXX

75 Lower Welden Street

Saint Albans VT 05479-0001

I have a referral ID but the status check on the USCIS website doesn't take it.

Keep calling back. They can not tell you to not call back, they already cashed your check in the beginning, so they have a service to perform. Don't be intimidated by government idiots.

I wasn't intimidated it was just that she made it clear she looks at the same information I have available to me and she does not have access to the status because it was going through the VSC. The problem is as far as I can see the VSC can only be reached by Fax or Mail.

Thanks,

Is the referral ID you're talking about the one they gave you when they did the expedite? because if so, they should be able to look it up when you call them. Did you already send in all your evidence for the expedite?

First ; Did you submit a !-129F petition as this forum is for that. Yes if they asked for more information or an RFE ; then you should submit anything and I would send anything I had originally submitted again . The customer center that you call in my opinion is worthless and there is no where else to call ; they only tell you what youv'e already have sent or done. You may get a your local Senator involved if you get no response but from experience that does not even help . Sorry to say you just have to wait. You should recieve a response letter approx every 90 days about 30 days after each of your calls just to tell you that you in fact you called . ( I know ) . dosen't make sense but keep on it and good luck.

I am pretty much in the same boat..i asked for an expedite request and then for weeks heard nothing, then I finally got an email asking for additional documents which I sent also. I called USCIS yesterday and the tier 2 guy told me my case was active, it hadn't been archived, that my documents had been received but that it takes 10 to 20 business days usually to process (he also added that he has seen expedites processed in as little as one day). Anywho, he told me to give it another week then email the service center (another user provided those addresses in this post) and include your case number, referral ID, and a copy of any notice your received showing that your documents reached your service center. Since you are outside those 20 days I suggest you send an email and keep calling. Its called an expedite for a reason, maybe they just dont get the "expeditious" part yet.

Once again if this is an 129f application then there is no expedited request for processing. If they sent you a letter ; than it is an RFE ( Request for evidence ) . I am suprised you even got to a tier 2 guy as years ago I was not able to do that with a lot of work. You should have a case number by now and be able to track it on USCIS website to see if your touched which basically means they did something with your paperwork . It also used to say outside the 60 days I guest they got that down to 20 which is a good thing . Keep calling ; but you should recieve a letter of confirmation that you called ; keep those letters as you can use them as part of your package in the next steps. Good Luck .

If you requested an expedite you should have an email within a few days of their decision to approve expedite or deny. You can call USCIS and ask...if they tell you they dont see any info ask to speak withsomeone that can see more depth to your file (tier 2) that should at least get you more info. They can see a lot more....I have never been able to see my info on the USCIS online status but when I call the first tier cant either so they always direct me to 2nd tier with more info and TA DA...we are in the system and recognized there...

good luck...

It is for an 129f and it is an expedite request. The email was specifically regarding my expedite and asking for additional documents proving the difficult circumstances. Hopefully, they will approve it soon, if not the expedite then at least send my NOA2 so we can get things moving.
