from I 129F to I 130

Hello guys,

I went to my senators office for help with regards to my I129F case because i haven't heard anything and its past the anticipated 5 months, they just got a reply today and it says that further record review indicates that the I-130 petition has been forwarded on to an Immigration Service Officer (ISO) for adjudicative processing. I only filled for I 129 f and we are yet to be married, can someone please explain to me what this means. thanks

Sometimes they get things mixed up. Call and have them correct their mistake.

You need to talk to a tier 2 Immigration officer to clarify your application

To the glory of God i call USCIS yesterday and asked to speak with a tier 2 officer and i complained about the problem that i was having and the lady sent in a service request on my behalf, only for me to get an approval notice on my case status this morning, am so excited beyond words. But as we all know this is just the first part, now my new question is do i need to get a new immigration letter from my bank (i submitted an I-134 with an immigration letter from bank in September 2010 with my initial I-129F application). thanks

Congrats! I would do a new I-134 for your London interview. If you are well beyond the 125% above poverty limit, and can show other good financial evidence to support that, then a new letter from your bank would probably not be needed. But if it is easy enough to get, then it won't hurt to have it.

Look at our profile signature. Your approved case has to go through NVC to be assigned a London case number. We are just waiting for our interview to be scheduled now, which all being well should be early to mid April.
