I dont know. But chances are, they'll be force to close for the meantime to save their selves away from harm and be with their loved ones. HE who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. God save the world.

So far so good. Just talked with people in the village. So far the village is ok, but everyone is worried. Still a way to go.

Not a USCIS issue... they will do nothing additional or special because of this.

I cannot reach my fiancee in Talibon, Bohol, Philippines. If anyone knows of any news in this area or any part of the Philippines affected by the tsunami, please share. Many prayers go out to Sarah, Sarah's family, and all.

I hope you able to contact her soon. Phone lines are probably overwhelmed and/or they've evacuated if they live near the coast. I'm sure she will fine.

My wife just texted me. She lives in the Bicol providence near the sea. She didnt say where the Tsunami occured but did say she was far away from it.

As for the Philippines, I have heard from some areas. Looked at Phillippine Star. The waves reported were of 1m high. But they were expected 1m to 2m waves. My fiance's village was spared, but probably due to the high location off the bay, (well above high tide), plus the sheltering of the islands around them. (they are very deep inside the philippines and not on an ocean facing side. As for the rest of the philippines, this is all I know so far of issues.

About 490 people were stranded in Matnog town, Sorsogon, where 13 trucks, 16 buses and six light vehicles were blocked on roads.

The provincial government of Surigao del Sur has already begun evacuating around 15,000 residents from four coastal villages.

The residents were sheltered inside gymnasiums, while others who refused to leave their residences were advised to stay on the second floor of their homes, local media reported.-- Source Philippine Star.

The phone lines and data lines are swamped there. the good news is this came in the early evening hours there just around dusk. The all clear was given around 7 pm local manila time.

I hope the tsunami doesnt affect us too bad. Im praying for everyone affected in Japan & other countries.

Level 2 Tsunami warnings have been issued among all coastal provinces in the east (Pacific Ocean) here in the Philippines. Im terrified of what destruction it can bring to the people living in those areas affected.

I woke up 30 mins earlier to a phone call from my husband informing me of this news. He said the Northern Part in the Philippines are the ones affected.

I was glad that my parents also didn't choose the stopover flight there in Japan when they bought their tickets bec it was one of the options with the same price, instead they choose the direct flight. Thank GOD! If they did they will be stranded there in Japan. Their flight is today 3/11. They're on the air now. They're expected to arrived in San Fo at 6:30PM.

I was really worried. When I call my sister, she says they're okay there in PI.

My prayers to people in Japan and the ones that were affected in the Philippines.

In regards about USE Manila, I don't think they will stop the process.

Just talked to my fiancée in Panabo City (north of Davao City). There are no issues there, but then I didn't expect any since she is on the south side of PI.

I hope that anyone here who has a SO in northern PI and in any other area affected by this are able to contact them and that they are ok.
