I've done my interview and not so clear to me about this after the Consul interview bit coonfuse to me. For the final window 72 that Officer there said ok wait your visa to deliver and he gave me a small form 2Go shippng and I had fill it up. I never heared the officer like the others got a welcome saying and I not heared word approved but He was just said OK fill up this fom and wait your visa to deliver and submit this form to that window then you can go. Then I submit the form to the last window and one lady got it and then I asked if my interview is ok and if I am approved,, hten she said if did they asked some more documents to submit and I said no. Then she said thumps and and said OK good. and I asked again if I approved then she said yes. But bit confusing me , the embassy did not ask any proof of relationship from me or even photo's only the NBI and just income tax return. The first interview told me they got all my files including the police certificates from different countries. I saw how thick the files they have it. What do I expect next step? is this normal process of the others to get approved to not saying anything or what? They keep my passport and they just said to wait my visa to deliver. Anyone had undergo same experienced? anywords from anyone highly appreciated, please help me to clear my mind. Thanks.

My experience was basically the same. The CO never said we were approved. When we were given a 2GO form to complete, no one confirmed that we were approved. We received the passport with visa after about 3 weeks. The delivery time will depend on where you live. Typically, the closer you live to Manila, the sooner you will receive your passport/visa. Those living in the distant provinces, the delivery time will take longer.

Good luck with the rest of your journey!

Did it take 3 weeks for your wife to get her visa? If so what part of PI was your wife located in that took that long. My fiance is just north of Davao City. I hope it doesn't take that long.

Sorry, I made a typo. It should have read 2 weeks. My stepdaughter received her visa after 11 days. She lives in Baguio City.

PGD, check into 1st time immigrant fares to your destination in the US. St. Raphael's Travel and Reliable Travel are a couple I'm pricing for my wife's ticket for her travel here. Hundreds off the listed fares but there are some stipulations. Reliable explains things very well, in my opinion. Best of luck!!!! (no, I have no personal or financial interest in either!, just thrifty!!)
