I need a little advice...

...We were planning on already having my fiances AOS turned in however we realized when looking at all the papers needed that we need his stupid vaccination record and birth certificate (which was already in the K-1). While we wait for those to arrive by mail from Jamaica would it be ok to send the rest of the packet anyway, knowing we will get an RFE? My only reason for doing this is that we would like his EAD and APO at least so he can start working.....would they grant both of those and then give us the RFE or would this just delay all of it longer? Thanks everyone for you advice :)

The RFE will paused EVERYTHING so he won't get the EAD or AP until you reply to the RFE successfully anyway. i would personally just wait for the docs to arrive. You'll lose time waiting to get the RFE in the mail, then how long it takes to get it back, then how long it takes them to pick your file back up.

There's an AOS thread in my signature with the required docs list that might help you

I agree, everything will be on hold until the RFE is responded to. Also won't you need to have a CS complete a I-693 from the vaccination record from JA? I remember we took hubby's vaccination record and the receipt from his exam in JA to the CS here in Atlanta and had the I-693 completed and we sent that in with our AOS.

Wishing you all the best!

Hey, who did u contact for vaccinations in jamaica? we will need this but the doctor at medical interview said that they cant give him a copy of medical results?where do u get it from.?

Hi Dimples28, we got the doctor at the medical exam to update hubby's vaccination record while at his exam. Then we also used the receipt that showed he paid for his medical there in JA along with the vaccinations he got, we used that along with the updated vaccination card to take to the CS here in the US once it was time to send in the I-693 for AOS.
