Any news Ryna?

We went to the InfoPass on Wednesday and spoke with someone. She said the A# had been updated/corrected in the files. She also said that, even though the USCIS website says our local office is meeting the 4 month goal, it is really averaging 6 months, not 4. She looked to see if we had an interview scheduled yet, but we don't.

That said, yesterday, we also received a letter indicating the the A# was corrected on 8/12 so there's a small possibility that the case has been sitting at NBC waiting for the biometrics to be matched up with it and could end up at CSC. The lady we spoke to yesterday didn't confirm that the case was in the local office, just that the A# was now correct in the computer files and there was no interview scheduled as of yet. I hope we hear something (interview date, xfer, etc.) within the next 2-3 weeks...

Well that is some good news, hoping you get that transfer notice, an interview would just be unfair at this point after so long.

hi, I have my working permit. Got it last month July 13th. I'm still waiting for our schedule for our interview for greencard. Is this normal? It is 5 months already still no schedule, what will I do?

We're at 5 months also. Was your case transferred to CSC? What is your local office?

We went to an InfoPASS appointment last week and they told us it could be up to 6 months even though the website says 4 months for AOS at our location... Have you thought about making an InfoPASS appointment?

We did have an error in our application which has been fixed but we're hoping things will get moving now...

Hi Ryna, we still don't have any interview date. We called the USCIS and they told us that they are still processing the December and the January fillers. So they told me to wait until October before they call me again. But if this month, if we still don't receive it, I might try the infopass. I'm a little bit worried already. We had address errors too, that is why we are delayed. Hope we could receive that interview date.

We're still waiting for our green card. We had the interview August 4th and they told us we'd hear something within 30 days. 30 days is up and still nothing. We still don't know why we weren't given an answer at the interview itself - starting to get concerned!

medhead - I hope you hear something soon.. I don't which would be worse - already having the interview and not getting an answer for over a month or not even knowing if/when there will be an interview...

bulon - I hope you get some news soon, too. We're going to wait until Oct 1st (6 full months since NOA1) then make another InfoPASS, if necessary. Since we were told our local office is taking 6 months, I figure we should at least have the interview letter in hand before the 6 month mark. If not, there must be a problem somewhere (lost AOS packet, lost POE envelope, ???). We're hoping for some news this week since, realistically, it's the last chance to receive an interview letter with a September interview date...:(

Best of luck on your interview!

Now, after just short of six months of waiting, I'm starting to be afraid that our interview WILL BE scheduled within the next 2 months... I start a new job on Monday and I'm not allowed to take any time off for the first 60 days (probationary period), so I'm afraid that after all this time, we might have to reschedule for when my PTO days finally kick in (unless they'll grant me an unpaid 1/2-day to day off to talk to the Feds).
