We filed I-485, I-130, EAD, AP today, March 30, 2011. We married in NY while my husband was here on his F-1 visa and now we're trying to adjust status. Hope we gambled well not using a lawyer. Thanks to everyone on the site for all the helpful comments. Every question I had was answered in one forum or another. Here's hoping we didn't miss anything! Good luck to all.

Hey guys, Alaba here, gonna join the thread as I'm also a March filer. Sent of my AOS package March 15, 2011. Arrived there following day March 16, 2007 through USPS EXPEDITED. Was signed for by Jay. No response yet, no NOA, Money Order not cashed and no emails so far. Let the journey begin.

Looks like we are going to join you here in this thread. We are also March filers. Sent out the package on March 17, 2011. It was received by Chicago Lockbox on March 21,2011. Both checks were cashed yesterday.

I guess, it's now the beginning of the waiting game. :innocent: Good luck to all of us.

03/29/11 - Checks cashed by US Dept of Homeland Security

03/31/11 - NOA1 (hard copy) received via snail mail

04/04/11- Received Bio Appointment letter (for 4/15/11)

04/04/11- Touch (received SMS &E-mail)

04/12/11- Received RFE (request for yet another translation of Birth Certificate)

04/15/11- Bio Appointment (success!)

04/16/11- RFE Mailed to NVC

04/19/11- Touch (RFE answer received by NVC) (SMS & E-mail)

05/18/11- EAD card production ordered

05/18/11- AP postdecision activity - letter mailed (SMS & e-mail)

05/26/11 - EAD/AP combo card in hand

10/13/11 - AOS Inteview scheduled (10:30 am) APPROVED!

Hello fellow March filers. We filed my aos packet on 3/8 and they received it on 3/10. I made copies of everything and noticed my forms don't have barcodes on it. I'm still waiting, haven't heard from them. I am hoping they would just send my packet back than letting it sit there.

Our journey update:

02/14/2011 Valentine's Day wedding

03/08/2011 Sent I-130, I-485, I-765 to Chicago Lockbox (PO Box address) thru USPS Priority Mail

03/09/2011 Found out this Visa Journey Community

03/10/2011 Package received at 6:48am

03/15/2011 Called USCIS to inform them that all the forms I sent don't have barcodes on 'em, except for I-693, was told to wait for 30 days before we hear from them

04/05/2011 E-notifications received (texts and emails)

04/06/2011 Checks cashed

04/11/2011 Received NOA's for all 3 applications

04/15/2011 Received Biometrics Appointment Notice for I-485 and I-765 (scheduled for 05/09/2011)

04/15/2011 Successful Walk-in Biometrics (05/09/2011 is week of my birthday and we'll be out of town)

04/27/2011 E-notifications received(text and email) EAD Card production in order; Online status for I-765 updated 4/27/11

05/05/2011 Received EAD card

05/06/2011 Applied for SSN

05/16/2011 Received Interview notice scheduled for 06/16/2011 (via e-notifications and USPS mail)

06/16/2011 Interview at San Jose,CA office, went well but no assurance from the IO

06/17/2011 Received e-notifications- I-485 approval and card production ordered :D

06/23/2011 Received Welcome letter, and approval of I-130

06/27/2011 Received GREEN CARD in the mail, it is indeed green!

I-751

05/10/2013 Sent in I-751 application to CSC PO box

05/13/2013 Package delivered at 11:28am

Hi all,

I guess I'll joing the "party" here where we're all waiting and hoping!!

We filed AOS AP and EAD all together and got an initial NOA dated March 2 (I dated the check 2010 instead of 2011 and they rejected the whole lot BOO!). We resubmitted and got the acceptance NOA of March 14. Seeming we may have caught the luck as the case has been transferred to the California Service Center, NOA March 24. Seems those have no interview and are much faster?!?!? Some with approval dates as short as 34 days from NOA, according to the timelines!?!?!?! (I'm a bit of a data junkie so I've sorted and averaged the last 3 months data for cases transfered to CSC with or without RFE's... mean of 53 and 76 days respectively)

Our case status online is "not found" for AP and EAD but current for AOS. Here's to hoping the green card just shows up and we don't need the other stuff!!!

Good luck to all who are hoping and waiting and checking emails/mailboxes/etc.... Isn't it just maddening?!?!?!

Awesome! We have the EXACT same timeline. March 14th, transfered to CSC on the 24th, no EAD or AP showing up for us either, but AOS is there! :) have you done biometrics yet?

Excellent. Yes, it's so nice to have found a place with common ground!

We originally were thinking that our hopes to attend a wedding out of the country in June were silly, but now it's looking fairly likely? Maybe? We hope!

3/11: Delivered Chicago Lockbox

3/15: text and email confirmation/Check Cashed/NOA1 sent

3/16: touched

3/18: rec hardcopy NOA1

3/21: rec biometrics appointment for 4/08 planning walk in for 3/23

3/22: successful walk in biometrics exactly 3 months since POE

5/14: touched/text & email notice of EAD approval

5/16: EAD in hand

7/1: Text/email notice for interview

8/3: Interview.............Approved!!!!

8/13: Green Card in hand

No way! You're not alone! I think only 3 of us or so have been transferred. And anyway, I've been hearing lately that sometimes those with interviews end up getting their green cards faster... So it may be a blessing in disguise :)

Right now, I am just wishing to receive an NOA1, that way my husband can put a copy in his wallet along with his visa! His 90 days were over in Dec 2010.

Just thought I'd pop on and say I'm a March filer also. We filed the I-130, I-485 and I-765 on the 23rd March. I got an email confirmation that the packet was signed by D Colonna. Still no other word or cashier check not gone through yet.

I suppose It's now a waiting game with alot of patience ahead.
