Hi Fellow March Filers, I need your help! I'm worried about my Change of Status & working permit papers. It's been 3 months now (March 21, 2011 filled) still no Biometrics Appointment Letter. I already received the receipt and the transfer letter that its in California already. But no biometrics letter appointment until now. What shall I do now? I checked all the March fillers and usually they have their biometrics done already. Hope you could help me. Thank You!

Is it normal that until now I don't have the biometrics letter? What can I do, where can I call? Thanks for the help.

i went to my local ASC office to ask for a biometrics appointment. They gave it to me within 5 mins and I had it one month later, but maybe your local ASC accepts walk in.

Yes, it stays on Card production while the card is being produced, then it jumps to Post decision when the card is mailed out. You will receive it soon! :)

Yep. Completely normal. I asked this too last month when it happened in my wife's case. USCIS has the circles out of order to worry us all.

Hi, I finally got my ASC Appointment (Biometrics). I called them and followed up and they found out that my address they encoded is wrong. So I needed to update it and hopefully I can receive a notification that my address is correct. I really want to do walk in but my address issue is not yet notified, that's why I'll just wait for my July 15th schedule. By that time I think its ok already. Thank You for the help!

Well, I have to say, the interview today went far better than I thought. I got approved for a 10 year GC.

The IO was very pleasant. He hardly asked any questions, just a few on how we met and where we married. He asked us for 2-3 documents to show the co-mingling financial side. He then looked at both of us and he said approved with a 10 GC based on 2 years of marriage.

On the downside, he said my wife didn't need to file the I-130, but I don't care, better safe than sorry and money well spent as far as I'm concerned.
