hi again, we filed last march 21, 2011. Until now we don't have our biometrics schedule? Most of March filers have their biometrics taken, im so worrid. Is that normal? please help!

I recommend you to call USCIS, we had an issue too with the biometrics. They got our papers on march 3, and after some calls and infopasses appointments they finally issued the biometrics for AOS( after making a service request with USCIS). No word on biometrics for EAD/AP. In our last call they promised to send combo card as its already approved it since april 28, we still waiting for it. I really think they just somehow misplace, forgot about our case, because there is no RFE, no background check going on, they keep telling all is normal but still we are empty handed. Maybe is something similar going on with your case? Check our timeline in my signature down here.

Yes we got response by mail with biometrics letter attached to it, on day 30 after opening the service request!!

We open service request May 6, letter dated June 1, we got it on June 6, Biometrics appointment for June 15.

No changes or touches on USCIS website.

Hi guys!!!

My case was just transferred to California Service Center..I think it is good news.. cause we wont need go to interview.. still waiting for about EAD/AP the staus in the USCIS webside are in initial review.

I-485 On June 8, 2011, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action

So we got our interview letter in the mail yesterday. They are sending us four hours away to phoenix where we don't know the area and are going to have to get a hotel the night before to make sure we are on time. I thought for sure we would go to Vegas which is only two hours away. I know people that live in the same area as me that dealt with Las Vegas. Oh well, just glad to be almost done with this.

1-20-06 - Married

3-28-11 - I-130 and AOS in the mail.

3-29-11 - USPS delivery confirmation to Chicago lockbox.

4-02-11 - Email notification of NOA1.

4-04-11 - I-130 TOUCH

4-05-11 - NOA1 hardcopy received.

4-13-11 - Email notification for RFE.

4-18-11 - AOS TOUCH

4-18-11 - RFE hardcopy received (for W2).

4-18-11 - Biometrics Appt. notice received (scheduled for 5-5-11).

4-27-11 - RFE response in the mail.

4-29-11 - USPS delivery confirmation for RFE response.

5-05-11 - Biometrics appointment completed.

5-13-11 - RFE received (case status updated today, but says RFE received 5-2-11)

6-07-11 - Email notification for Interview on 7-12-11.

6-11-11 - Interview hardcopy received.

Nothing here. The AOS case seems completely stalled at the moment. We're hoping for some kind of news this week.

I guess this means they're caught up now but it probably also makes it less likely that it'll be transferred to CSC... and we may be waiting until August before hearing anything.unsure.gif

Your field office is doing better than ours.
