Yes, ours was transfered to CSC and we were approved and we filed in March so I think they are moving along faster than we think!!

OMG the website was updated and our interview is July 12th!! We are so happy. We thought we would be one of the last of the march filers to get an interview because we got a RFE. I havn't heard of any other March filers getting a RFE so I thought we were pushed way behind everyone. But we were wrong, YAY!

Just a curious question for the March filers. What steps are people taking to find work and has anyone been successful?

I'm basically looking for anything short term, whatever that job is. Long term, I'm looking into becoming a parole officer or the police force(that will obviously have to wait until I become a US Citizen)

If you want to be a parole or correctional officer you have to take the civil service exam for it first. I know this because my hubby was just shortlisted for a job as a parole officer. He took the test last year. And he applied for the PA state police last 2008 and only got an interview for it this month. They had 4000 applicants and will only take 100 :/ but he's made it to the first cut (2000 got cut from the test, and now he's up for interview and physical test) Goodluck!

same here....got combo card ~3wks ago, AOS hasn't been touched since April 7. shrug. Sucks, but work authorization and driver's license were what we were really waiting on. GC is not such and issue...

EAD/AP in hand, AOS untouched since 4/4. No CSC transfer, but no interview date locally as of yet. AOS case is still in 'Inital Review'. Not sure if I prefer a CSC transfer or not at this point since other March filers are starting to have interviews in the coming days but who really knows which is better when it comes to USCIS?

Now, if the Social Security Administration would just get around to sending my wife the updated card with her married name, we could go about getting her learner's permit. She went to change it on May 23 but hasn't received it yet...

Still no news on AOS, got EAD almost a month now and finding that another hard part is finding employment. Applied for state ID hopefully it and the greencard come together lol.

i just called them this morning and requested for the correction......

and yes, they gave me a service request receipt number....

You need to make sure that is corrected, or else there is a big chance that your GC will come out wrong as well. It takes about 6 months to get a corrected GC back, so its not worth it! When they got a letter of my name wrong on the biometrics letter, I called and requested a formal request to fix it. They gave me a service request receipt number and an email when it was fixed. Took about 3 days.

We also had an RFE - and it took us almost a month to respond since we had to get an updated birth certificate in Jamaica. But, it didn't delay us for the EAD/AP. Hopefully we have the same luck as you with the interview.

hi again, we filed last march 21, 2011. Until now we don't have our biometrics schedule? Most of March filers have their biometrics taken, im so worrid. Is that normal? please help!
