Day 90 update.

We called today USCIS and got transferred to a supervisor or immigration official. The person told us that they got his biometrics on their system, that all was fine and that she will launch the issuance of his EAD/AP card. I don't know if to believe in that or no. Does that mean that he does not need to do the biometrics? Wow, congratulations!!

My hubby finally received his EAD today kicking.gif, now he is currently on his way to the SSA office to apply for a Social Security #. We will be busy this month doing a lot of movement to have both our names on various accounts.....

Unfortunately he wont be able to start working until another 2-3 months due to a medical issue wacko.gif!

Ok, so about 2 weeks ago we called to make sure my husbands name would show up correctly on both his EAD and temp GC.

His EAD card arrived today good.gif and his name was correct (First Name MiddleName 1stLastName 2ndLastName) , and so we decided it would be good for him to go to SSA office for his SS#.

Well now, it seems as though Immigration entered his name wrong in the master list ( i think that is what it is). When SSA checked the immigration system his name was wrong. His middle name was entered twice.

FirstName MiddleName Middle Name 1stLastName 2nd Last Name

So they will not issue a SS# until his name is corrected! crying.gif

That's really frustrating. We may run into a similar problem - they misspelled my husband's middle name on some of the most recent paperwork. They made "Mikhail" "Mikhhail'". He thinks the spelling must have seemed more "black" to whomever typed in the name. Some times I wish they were robots processing these things and not humans!

We received an update today....Interview is on July 15.

I have noticed that a lot of the case's that filed there I-485 before there I-94 expired have had a fairly rapid processing and no interview.

Anybody else notice this?

We have not heard a single thing about the AP that we filed, and the date online has not changed since the original NOA1. Is this normal?? Has anyone else had this happen?

I see that you have received your card, why are you worried about your AP anymore? Your GC is replaces your EAD and AP.

Yes, you have your GC. You don't need AP or EAD.
