My husband received the EAD/AP combo card. However, there was only updates on the EAD. To date, the AP still shows initial review. You will probably receive the EAD card. Good luck!

Hi again, I found my application support center, but I am afraid that without their appointment, something might not go well. Is it safe if I'll do that now. I called USCIS and an answering machine told me that my case is still pending. I live in Van Nuys.

Where are you located? Some offices are very busy so it takes some time before they can schedule an appointment for you. Usually they will put in a service request for you if you call them 30 days after you last heard from them so you can try and give them a call.

I believe the other member who walked in without the appointment letter is "th and vj" I would suggest you send them a message and ask how it went for them

All cases are pending even during biometrics. Your case will not move forward until you take your biometrics (fingerprints).

"(april 21, 2011) The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. "

"On May 25, 2011, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you"

"On May 26, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT."

CGOlivas, you are right....

went for a successful walk-in biometrics - apr 18 (we were in the vicinity that time - home is 5 hours drive)

just showed them my NOA2 (aos, ap, ead)

they printed out (from their computer) my biometrics appointment letter.

advised me to ignore the original apptment from the mail (i received original ltr - apptment date apr 25).

and, fyi, just got approved ead and ap....... (may 25 and 26 thru email notification)

just sharing......

Hi guys,

Just to give an update: today we received my husband's EAD/AP combo card! Hurray!

Hey everyone....just a quick update to add to the list. It looks like we just got to the end of our journey faster than we thought we would. Three weeks ago Natasha found out her case was transferred to California. So we were just waiting patiently for our interview date. Today the mailbox was most kind Went to check it and low and behold was a notice for us telling Natasha she had been approved for permanent residence and to expect the greencard in three weeks.... :dance: . But it got better, right under that was her green card and the nice letter telling her welcome to the United States. And no interview was needed. I really dont know how we got so lucky but all is done now. It really is a relief after over two years of writing, calling, meeting and getting married. Good luck to the rest of you and I hope our good luck will help ya'll feel better about your process.

Seems as though a lot of us March filers are moving fast. Today I go an email saying that my EAD will arrive within 30 days(hopefully sooner)

On May 23 they order production of hubby's EAD card.

On May 27 they order production of hubby's EAD card.

On May 31 they have approved hubby's EAD card.

Just an update on my case we just got email stating that uscis just ordered production card for the i 485, now i just waiting in the mail!!! thanks everybody!

I had the same pattern of strange email alerts. But, the good news is, the initial email came May 23rd and the combo AP/EAD card arrived in the mail today, May 31st!!

Hello All March Filers,

Havent posted on this post before but just wanted to share our news. We finally received notice that our EAD card production was being ordered on 5-24-2011, then on 5-27-2011 we received notice that the card was being produced for the I485!! We received several of the same exact email and about 5 emails total from USCIS in one day. Then on 5-31-2011 we received notice that the EAD and I485 were approved and the approval notice had been sent. Seems a little backwards but hopefully we will be getting the cards in the mail anyday!!

Anyone else had this happen?

So excited to finally have two incomes again!!
