So, as it shows above, we have our interview in Salt Lake on June 16th, but we still have no word at all on the EAD, except that we did biometrics for it already. I know once we get the green card, the EAD won't matter anymore. But I am just worried that something is going wrong, because it seems like most people with an interview already have their EAD. Anyway, any insights would be appreciated. Thanks!

That was going through my mind also. I'm still waiting on word for our EAD but have an interview on the 27th June for the AOS.

Where are you located? Some offices are very busy so it takes some time before they can schedule an appointment for you. Usually they will put in a service request for you if you call them 30 days after you last heard from them so you can try and give them a call.

Well, yesterday we got the notification that the production of my wifes EAD has been ordered. So no more worrying about that! Now we'll just see if I actually get it before our AOS interview About how long has it been taking for people to get their EAD card after getting the notification? Thanks!

Congrats! My wife had her's 8 days after the initial notification date. We received 3 texts (over 6 days) ordering card production.

Hey everyone....just a quick update to add to the list. It looks like we just got to the end of our journey faster than we thought we would. Three weeks ago Natasha found out her case was transferred to California. So we were just waiting patiently for our interview date. Today the mailbox was most kind Went to check it and low and behold was a notice for us telling Natasha she had been approved for permanent residence and to expect the greencard in three weeks.... :dance: . But it got better, right under that was her green card and the nice letter telling her welcome to the United States. And no interview was needed. I really dont know how we got so lucky but all is done now. It really is a relief after over two years of writing, calling, meeting and getting married. Good luck to the rest of you and I hope our good luck will help ya'll feel better about your process.

Hi, I would recommend locating/finding your local "Application Support Center" that is the place where they administer the biometrics. Just tell them that you have not received your biometrics letter and you are worried it got lost in the mail, or make up another excuse. There was another member who did a walk-in without a letter without any problems. Your applications will not be processed until your fingerprints have been taken.

This still gives me hope.. My wife just received her EAD last weekend. We have no interview date set, no RFE notice, no news of a transfer, no news at all on the AOS case but if a transfer is still possible after receiving the EAD, there is still hope for us. I know our local USCIS is running 2 months behind target processing time for AOS so we're really hoping for a transfer. Interview or no interview isn't important, we're just hoping for whichever is quickest.

got news today........

"On May 25, 2011, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

will this be a combo EAD/AP???? i applied for both but i only got EAD notification....

my aos was transferred to csc last april 28...... will that mean no interview????

My husband received the EAD/AP combo card. However, there was only updates on the EAD. To date, the AP still shows initial review. You will probably receive the EAD card. Good luck!
