Hey 5-17 was a good day for a lot of filer's .

Status update !...

On May 17, 2011, we received your corrected payment of the filing fee on this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. The case is being processed at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER.. :dance::dance:

On May 17, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION.

On May 3, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT. .. approved before bio metrics

Just look at the list I Have going. The second group with blue dates, are the dates in which one received the official NOA1 The third group with pink dates are biometrics appointment dates. NOTE:

We just got a second text message that said Document/Card production ordered for EAD. The first one was 5 days ago, so I wonder when the card was actually ordered?

Either way, I think my heart rate doubled when I saw the text from USCIS. I was definitely thinking it was AOS-related.

Hi guys!

I know it's been a while since I last visited this site. Hope you are all doing great. Just to give you a quick update:

my husband's Bio Appointment went very well on 4/15/11. We also received RFE for yet another certified copy of his Birth Certificate, which we sent back to NVC on 4/16/11 and they received it on 4/19/11.

Today I received 2 SMS and 2 E-mails. One was saying that his EAD card has been ordered to print and another one said that the letter was mailed regarding his AP application.

So, I guess, we just wait and see when we receive the card and the letter. And we will be impatiently awaiting our interview for the GC sometime in the near future.

03/17/11 - AOS/AP/EAD package sent

03/29/11 - Checks cashed by US Dept of Homeland Security

03/31/11 - NOA1 (hard copy) received via snail mail

04/04/11- Received Bio Appointment letter (for 4/15/11)

04/04/11- Touch (received SMS &E-mail)

04/12/11- Received RFE (request for yet another translation of Birth Certificate)

04/15/11- Bio Appointment (success!)

04/16/11- RFE Mailed to NVC

04/19/11- Touch (RFE answer received by NVC) (SMS & E-mail)

05/18/11- EAD card production ordered

05/18/11- AP postdecision activity - letter mailed (SMS & e-mail)

05/26/11 - EAD/AP combo card in hand

10/13/11 - AOS Inteview scheduled (10:30 am) APPROVED!

10/21/11- Green Card in hand!

Hello everyone. I hope everyone's processes are moving along nicely.

We just got another EAD-related text from USCIS but this time the website status moved backwards to Post-Decision Activity from Card/Document Production Ordered. I'm guessing this is normal?

Still waiting on some AOS news...

You should receive the card by the end of the week.

The back and forth is normal but then again what is really normal activity for the USCIS website.

AOS from K-1

3/09/2011: filed I-485 + EAD

3/11: Delivered Chicago Lockbox

3/15: text and email confirmation/Check Cashed/NOA1 sent

3/16: touched

3/18: rec hardcopy NOA1

3/21: rec biometrics appointment for 4/08 planning walk in for 3/23

3/22: successful walk in biometrics exactly 3 months since POE

5/14: touched/text & email notice of EAD approval

5/16: EAD in hand

7/1: Text/email notice for interview

8/3: Interview.............Approved!!!!

8/13: Green Card in hand

We went back today to our local office and guess what? the system still down for the biometrics. They told us to make another appointment for monday! :wacko:
