On May 13 we got a "touch" on our AP that was already approved 2 weeks ago. Still nothing about EAD, biometrics or a RFE. Nor hard copies of anything about AP. No idea what is going on with our case.

Got a transfer notice of our AOS application today. It was transferred to California Service Center, 2nd Floor, 24000 Avila Road, Laguna Niguel, CA 92607-0111, is this normal or a positive thing?

It's usually a good sign and means that it's likely that you'll get the GC without an interview.

Has anyone here received a transfer to CSC after biometrics and EAD/AP approval? Not that it's a big deal but I'm trying to save my days off so we can travel after she receives her Green Card and taking the day off for an interview would wipe out yet another day of leave so I've still got my fingers crossed for a CSC transfer and GC without an interview...

Hey CGOlivas, based on your timeline, I bet you will get something this week. I did a biometrics walk-in on 5/2, and got my EAD+AP card on 5/14.

Back from two weeks away to find the EAD/AP combo card in the mail (dated 05 May). Yay!

Now, as for online case status, no touches on the I485 status since April 7. The AP online status says we were mailed a notice of approval 29 April (which we've not seen), and the EAD online status says we were mailed notice on 05 May. Both also indicate "Post Decision Activity" not "card production" so something's goofy with the online system, since we have the card in hand! Now off to the MVA this week!

Congrats to all of you! We got notice that on May 10th they accepted our response to the RFE (we had to send a computerized edition of my husband's certified Jamaican birth certificate ... argh) and we were transferred to the National Benefits Center. We didn't do the K-1 route (instead filed I-130, I-485 together), so we are anticipating an interview. I am guessing the RFE will have set us back by about one month but it's still good to see that some of yours are moving along relatively quickly!

Good news!! We did the Infopass appointment today. The immigration official told us that his EAD was approved on April 28 as the AP, but that they are waiting for his biometrics to issue the card!!! The bad is that today "the system was down"and we could not do the biometrics, at least we have a new appointment in 2 days.

I want to add that we had 5 minutes of panic there, after the lady ask my houseban about his A number. She started to search on the system and then told. "There is no info about you in the system, seems they lost your package at the port of entry. I can't help you" I totally freak out Then she ask "when you guys will marry?" and I told her "We are already married! we filed for AOS!! and then she understood seems she was searching in the wrong criteria. Uff what a scary moment.

Then she comfirmed all the info we already had plus that EAD was approved some time ago. Hope the system is again running in 2 days.

Wow! I'm glad to see it was just because she was looking at the wrong thing. That would be horrible, if true...

I think my wife's EAD was already approved too and they were just waiting on her biometrics because the official notice arrived in less than one day after she went... She's hoping to get the card this week. Then, it's off to the Social Security office again to change the name on her card, wait for that to come in the mail and then, finally, off to the DMV so she can get her learner's permit and some form of State ID.

For now, we just are waiting on some movement on the AOS and hoping all goes smoothly with that...

We have received many emails the last few days on the I-765 and I131. They are both approved. But the big one is that we received our appt letter yesterday and our interview is on June 16. Our anniversary is June 17. Then we received a touch on the I-485 today updated to 05/17/2011. Things seem to be moving along for everybody.
