Hey guys....we have found the mistake.....we made out the money order to USCI instead of U.S. department of homeland security..... :whistle: ...lol

Will you be able to change the money order without losing the money for the first one?

Feel free to join the april filers as well when you refile..

Has any March filer received their EAD yet? Just wondering.. ^.^

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Hi guys there is an update here... I received my package back today because of the fee mount in the pay check was incorrect, as the rejection notice says. But they included two rejection notices one on the I-765 and another on the I-485. Do I have to remove the rejection notices and resend the application with the correct check or just leave it as it is, include the check and resubmit it ?? any kind of help will be appreciated!

08-02-2011: I-485 Transferred to NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER.

Yes... and it came with a green paper so when you send it back they will process it quickly....well i hope....lol

april 05 - email / text notification

april 08 - NOA received

april 14 - biometrics - walk in (advised to be back 18th because of fingerprint reject re : skin dryness)

april 18 - biometrics - walk in (completed)

just have to wait for a notification / letter from uscis or better to think, gc in the mail !!!!!

thanks to vj members..... we were "informed" of "actual" experiences....... applied some to ours.....

I went to the bank yesterday to see if USCIS have cashed the cashiers check, and no they haven't. It's now coming up to one month since we sent the packet off. Obviously our file is sitting there collecting dust.

I am sorry but it appears I had posted in the wrong forum. My wife is AOS from F-1 not K-1. I figured it would be good to tell you so you can scratch my name off the list. Although we have received everything and finished the biometrics as of yesterday.

You can still stay with us. The more people we have on board the more support there is for each other. I just assumed everybody here were K-1 visa holders.....

Thanks for allowing me to stay. To update the timeline we received all of our NOA's on April 9th. We then received our appointment notice for biometrics on April 15th which was scheduled for April 29th. We did an early walk in appointment at about 1pm on April 19th with no problems at all. The staff was really helpful and speedy. Now we are just waiting on the interview! :)

Sep 2009- Met at school

November 29 2009- Asked her to be exclusive

July 4 2010- Asked for her hand in marriage

Dec 23 2010- Got married!!!

Mar 10 2011- Filed AOS with USCIS

Mar 11 2011- USCIS received app

April 9 2011- Received NOA for all forms

April 29 2011- Biometrics appointment scheduled

April 19 2011- Successful walk in biometrics in Phoenix

May 15- Received a RFE birth certificate/financial docs

June 9- Sent RFE back

april 25.... but since we were in the vicinity (our place is 5 hours drive), they willingly accommodated my request....

i took the chance.... i just showed them my NOA, they downloaded my appointment letter (i have not received original apptment letter yet when i went for a walk in)... and whoaaaa..... done......

heard from others that those with interview received their gcs much earlier than those who didnt......

would appreciate thoughts and experiences please....

also, would like to know why others are being transferred to CSC and others not (?)..... any logical explanation to this???? im just curious......

Any updates?

Still hoping for a transfer to CSC but it's been almost 1 month since the NOA1 so I'm thinking it's less and less likely now...
