I am sorry but it appears I had posted in the wrong forum. My wife is AOS from F-1 not K-1. I figured it would be good to tell you so you can scratch my name off the list. Although we have received everything and finished the biometrics as of yesterday.

Sep 2009- Met at school

November 29 2009- Asked her to be exclusive

July 4 2010- Asked for her hand in marriage

Dec 23 2010- Got married!!!

Mar 10 2011- Filed AOS with USCIS

Mar 11 2011- USCIS received app

April 9 2011- Received NOA for all forms

April 29 2011- Biometrics appointment scheduled

April 19 2011- Successful walk in biometrics in Phoenix

May 15- Received a RFE birth certificate/financial docs

June 9- Sent RFE back

June 13- Received email stating RFE response review

05-16-2011: I-485/EAD Mailed.

05-28-2011: NOA1 hardcopy received.

05-30-2011: Biometrics letter for 06-15.

06-06-2011: Successful Biometrics walk-in.

06-13-2011: I-94 copy received in the mail.

06-15-2011: Transferred to CSC.

07-21-2001: EAD card in production.

08-02-2011: EAD card arrived.

08-02-2011: I-485 Transferred to NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER.

08-03-2011: Applied for SSN.

08-08-2011: Received SSN in the mail.

Yep, I see some April filers already received their NOA. It boggles my mind why March filers are behind them.

ok.....just received my package back with a notice that the fee was the wrong amount,i dont know why because i had sent to USCIS 2 USPS money orders ...one for $1000 and the other for $70 and when i called the USCIS the lady told me that i have to send the whole amount in one check and the payment can made with my business check instead of money order.

The Paralegal who filled my papers told me in the beginning that since my wife has the CU6 GC the $420 fee for the I-130 would be waived so i never sent and now i am doing it just to make sure.

Also it came with a green paper notice so they can take special attention to it when they receive it back.

Thats strange we did the same thing, we sent 2 money orders from USPS like you did and our package was accepted and transferred to CSC. Hope with the green notice it speeds up when you send it back. :star:

  • 04-15-11 Day 36 = Bio-Metrics NOA
  • 05-10-11 Day 61 = Bio-Metrics Appointment
  • 05-17-11 Day 68 = Submitted Request to Correct Name on 485 & 765
  • 05-23-11 Day 74 = Status online shows I-765 (EAD) Approved
  • 06-02-11 Day 84 = EAD arrived in the mail
  • 06-02-11 Day 84 = Went to SSA office (name wrong on Master Immigration List)
