For those of you still waiting and feeling unlucky, just try to have patience. I can honestly say that because since the time we filed out AOS, we waited from March 2010 until Nov 2010 until we received our greencard. Not to mention the interview from hell that we got. We are hoping our ROC goes smoother and we can be done with all of this for awhile. Keep the faith and good luck on your journies :star:

Blank as well. Phew! Just wondering. :)

I don't have my wife's in front of me but 99.99% sure it was blank as well. The Priority Date of immediate family (spouse, minor children, parents)-based AOS is always current. That is, there really isn't one...

I dont know what's wrong with the USCIS, some receive text and mail notifications within a week while others have to deal with a frustrating wait.If packages are processed acording to the order they are received, why some late march filers get an answer in less time while some early filers still wait ?? do those "lucky" ,quick to get an answer, filers had an attorney file their papers on their behalf ?? It seems that some petitions are given the priority, others are left to wait !!!! I hope this waiting game gets to its end soon, good luck visajourneyers

I totally understand the frustration of waiting. Mine was exactly one month apart from March to April, while our NOA for our I-129f was a few days!

But since the very beginning of our process (I-129F) I was warned that sometimes this will happen and the explanation she gave was obvious and we sometimes forget that.

Obviously immigration receives a lot of packages for different reasons, hence the different delivery locations. When the mail room receives this packages, they get put in a bin/cart. From there it gets taken to the appropriate department/floor/office for processing. Obviously who ever gets this lucky cart, they start from the top of the bin/cart and work themselves down until it is empty. I don't want to guess how big/small the bin/cart is, so don't want to guess how long it takes to empty the bin/car..... Also, how many bins/carts are they working from.

I am sure we can come up with different scenarios, but in our case, I guess we were at the bottom of the bin/car!

I can understand the frustration of the wait.. We had a relatively quick turnaround for the AOS NOA1 (11 days to txt/19 to hard copy) but who knows what that means to the overall process? Our I-129F NOA1 was dated 2 days after they received it but the approval took well over 4 months (without an RFE.) I was practicing my 5-mo service request speech. Meanwhile, others who took two weeks to get their NOA1 had their NOA2 within 10-20 days. I just keep telling myself "You can't figure out USCIS, so why try?"

Good luck to us all!

Not having really checked this initially I thought I was in the correct thread, but it appears that my case belongs to the adjusting from student/work/tourist visa section since I overstayed on a visitor visa. *CGOlivas, sorry for the inconvenience but you will want to take me off as part of the timeline.

God bless to everyone here!
